I don't know about the UH36 compatibility, it's doesn't have the T46G as one of the supported devices on the Datasheet.
The xxS Line is a newer iteration of the xxG line. One of the main differences is the firmware, while the T46G is stuck at v83 and will not get any new updates, the T46S is at v85 and is actively being updated (with a unified firmware the same as other T4xS phones. Otherwise no huge differences (Opus codec added, better processor, etc.)
