I recently updated my asterisk server, which meant a new install of OpenVPN. Since then my W52P has been unable to connect to the OpenVPN server.

I have updated the W52P firmware to the latest 25.81.0.60. I have also performed a factory reset, but no joy.

The logs are showing "connection reset" as soon as it connects.

OpenVPN connect on my android and windows connects OK. So it think it must be something to do with the W52P config.

Anyone got any ideas?

Hi,

Changing two things at the same time is asking for trouble.
I suggest to revert the Asterisk update and check if your W52P can connect successfully to your PBX.

Hi,

Thanks for the reply.

Unfortunately no joy. It's not connecting to the OpenVPN. If i put it on the same network as the PBX it will connect to asterisk OK, so I'm sure that the problem lies in the W52P openvpn config or the server openvpn config.

Hi,

In that case I suggest to submit a ticket @ Yealink
https://ticket.yealink.com/

or other forum member must have ideas.

Unfortunately not. OpenVPN forum suggested disabling compression and swapping between TCP and UDP. Unfortunately neither of these worked for me.

I will have to open a ticket with Yealink.
