Full Version: Screen 'refreshes' every couple minutes

Ever since adding a custom background and screensaver to my T46S (provisioned through Intermedia) it will 'refresh' the screen during the screensaver - it dims and undims. It's annoying because I think something important is happening on my phone in periphery.

Anyone know of a way to prevent this?

Hi James,

Please make sure the "Notification Popups" are switch to "OFF"
> Features > Notification Popups

Hope this will help.
Unfortunately that did not resolve the issue.
See video of what is happening:

I’ve seen this behaviour before on a “old” T26P, but I can’t remember what it caused.

Please check the Idle TimeOut… e.g.:
Office Hour Idle TimeOut: 60min
Off Hour Idle TimeOut: 5min
User Input Extension Idle TimeOut: 5min

Also make sure you are running the latest firmware: T46S(T48S,T42S,T41S)-66.84.0.90.rom

If above not work then reset the phone to factory default, re-provisioning it and try again.

Hope this will help.
