Hi

i've been trying for days now and reading the internet so i can upload my Contacts from my macbook to my Yealink T48S. Noway that it works. i've tried converting to CSV , uploading , different forms of CSV ... not one worked .

The Phone tool doesn't work on Excel on Mac. It says it's not compatible.

Is there anyone who can help me or give me a hint how i can get my Mac Contacts to the Yealink. ?

Thanks in advance

Dear Customer,

Good day. This is Jacky from Yealink Technical Support Team, nice to meet you.

I did the same try as you, and I also encountered a similar problem, we suspect that there are some compatibility issues with Excel. If we use another editor, such as Notepad++, it is OK.

We find another way which is more easy, we can produce a XML file through "Yealink phonebook Generation Tool", and import the file to the phone, then achieved the feature. Maybe you can have a try and share the result, the guide I have attached, you can refer it.

Best Regards,

Jacky

Other options when exporting to CSV-file directly from an Excel sheet.
To set the text attributes before saving.

UTF-8 Character set ---- Komma separated ---- Text marks "none" ---- Ending lines by CR (= Carriage Return) or CR + LF (LF = Line Feed)
I got the same problem then i read your thread. It worked with Notepad but excel has some compatibility issue.
