mask outbound caller id
Gigabit Color Phone SIP-T38G firmware 38.70.1.33

how do i spoof / mask my outbound caller id from the SIP-T38G directly.
i connect directly to the sip provider ie phone.com
i know from freepbx / aestric you can do it via the server

if you know of a specific yealink model that will acomplish this please let me know

however like to keep using SIP-T38G

Hi,

No this is not possible. The SIP Provider send the Caller ID, not your phone.
So if you want to mask / spoof your CID you have to change that at the provider side.
