We would like to use G.729AB codec in T29G IP phone. The problem is that even after enabling VAD the phone still doesn't generate G.729 Annex B comfort noise frames (payload type 18). Instead generic RTP comfort noise (payload type 13) frames are generated. Also in SIP INVITE message generated by T29G IP phone in SDP there is annexb=no. Datasheet for T29G says that G.729AB codec is supported, so we expect G.729 Annex B to be implemented (and annexb=yes to be offered in INVITE). How to enable G.729 Annex B in Yealink T29G IP phone?

Hi Sir

Please kindly send me config.bin, PCAP, syslog (level 6), then I will check with RD.
Btw, may I know how many phones in your side? How many phones have such issue?
