I am unable to establish a working line between the W52P and the Gateway.(This phone in its present state has a second line configured for an external VOIP service that is working fine.)
Incoming phonecalls work, outgoing phonecalls do not.
I am not using Asterisk or anything else then this gateway and the W52P and once they are configured I will disconnect WAN completely.
I want the W52P to use a mobile SIM and nothing else.
I really hope someone can help me out, because at this point I think I might have attempted all combinations brute force and I simply don't know where to go from here.

Hi,

I am afraid what you want is only possible if you use a SIP Server (PBX or VoIP trunk)
Without this the phone will never register, because the Portech is not a SIP Server.

Thanks a lot for your quick reply, you saved me a lot of wasted effort!
I was afraid that this might be the case, but at the same time it seemed strange to not at least have some rudimentary SIP functionality build in and the manual described some features that to me suggested it must be there somewhere.

I guess my senior parents won't be getting a new phone system after all Sad
on the up side - Guess i'll be having myself a new phone system Smile

(Actually, now that I think of it, I guess I could also get a RPI and use that as SIP. )

Bedankt!
