Is there any way to control (turn on/off or change the color of) a BLF LED on a Yealink phone, 'remotely' over the IP connection to the phone?
My understanding is that this can be done through a SIP NOTIFY message, but I would like to do it through an API command of some type or an HTTP command, to the phone.

Hi John,
As you know, BLF feature also need server side supported, based on SUBSCRIBE/NOTIFY mechanism. I think you want to control LED without BLF, right? If yes, May I know why you want to control linekey LED without BLF?
BTW, how many phones in your side?
Best Regards,
Kevin
Yes, I would like to control the LEDs without use of the SUBSCRIBE/NOTIFY messages. I want to develop an application that could be used to provide presence/status capability (such as DND, BUSY, etc) using the LEDs, for systems where the server does not support this functionality. This would be for my own customers as well as others who use Yealink phones on such systems.
