Hi!

I installed a couple of T56As last week and today one of them does not boot. The only thing one sees is that the LED on top is flashing roughly every 10 seconds. Cabling etc, seems to be OK.

Does someone have any idea what the problem could be?
Dear Joseph,

This is Evan from Yealink Support Team, I am glad to answer this question for you!

For the issue you reported, I think it may be a hardware problem. For the RMA request , we hope you understand that we need to double check whether it is hardware issue before we start the RMA process for you .

1. Please change an adapter or POE for exchange testing.
2. Please make a small video about this issue, and upload it to our file server via below link:

Hi Evan!

The customer has sent it back to me. It takes 1 or 2 days to check the phone. I've also received the recovery image from the distributor in case the phone boots so far that I can enter the tftp's server address.

Hi Joseph,

Please have a try with the recovery mode. If not help, I think it is a hardware problem.

Any update, please let me know.

Hi Evan!

I uploaded a small video, where we connect the phone to a POE switch 2 times. There's also another phone on the switch and that works. I also added some info about the serial number.

I noticed only a single small red flash. Nothing more, so I didn't have the chance to specify a tftp server.

Hi Joseph,

I have watched the video you provided. It is confirmed hardware issue. Please contact your distributor for warranty service.

Please let me know if anything we could help!

Evan You
