Sigh. This is so frustrating. I signed up to post a problem and find a solution.
First attempt after signing up: You must wait 24 hours. Ok.
2nd attempt: The image verification is wrong (did this twice).
4th attempt: Your message is considered spam. HUH? (view on pastebin https://pastebin.com/bVF52z4B)
So I've put the problem on pastebin (link above). Please read it and reply to here if you have any suggestions.
Thanks so much! (I'm being very sparing with my NEW LINES, as that might be how the "spam" is detected)
The main reason I want to do EITHER is so the ORIGINAL caller id is visible when the call is forwarded.
According to this thread: http://forum.yealink.com/forum/showthread.php?tid=41102
I should be able to add the following
Quote:account.x.refresh_remote_id.enable = 1
features.save_init_num_to_history.enable = 1
into the config file, but adding them via the web GUI (Config -> Export -> modify_file -> Import -> Export_to_check_them), shows that new lines don't actually get added to the config file!Huh (yes, I put in account.1...., not X)

I've even tried to get an auto-provisioning server set up just for this case, and I can see in the IIS logs that the phone requests MAC.cfg file and gets a status 200 (http code means success), but when I check via Config -> Export, the new lines are DEFINITELY not there. Seriously, why on earth does the phone CFG import not actually import the file? Or better yet, why doesn't it come with a straight-forward way to do attended AND blind transfers using the DSS keys? I like the hardware, but this inability to edit the CFG file and upload it is driving me nuts. Anyone else hit this?
