Hello,

I just upgrade my W52P, because I tough that ACTION URL missing in previous firmware, but I see in the last version there is no action URL for w52P.

Firmware : 25.81.0.10
Model : W52P

How Can i do ?

Hi,

I am afraid Action URL is not supported by the W52P Base.

Action URL allows IP phones to interact with web server applications by sending an HTTP or HTTPS GET request and the W5xP Base does not support HTTP/HTTPS GET requests.

I am afraid Action URL is not supported by the W52P Base.

Action URL allows IP phones to interact with web server applications by sending an HTTP or HTTPS GET request and the W5xP Base does not support HTTP/HTTPS GET requests.

Sorry to tell you that this Action URI/URL feature is not supported on Yealink DECT phones currently. Because w52p Base--Handset mode is one-to many mode, the base is hard to distinguish this action.

So I'm taking this request as a new feature, and I will bring it to our Product Dept. to evaluate if it is reasonable and possible.
I need you to answer below questions so they can evaluate it.
1. Is this feature important and necessary? Please elaborate the practical scenario with supportive points on this feature.
2. How your business or user experience is affected without this feature?

Hi Evan,

Thank you for your feedback and I understand, but actions link with account can be included with W52P, I understand your point of view about handset and actions link with incoming call, answer, etc. but actions link with base parameters and sip account could be managed as in T2x series for example which manage multi account too.

1. Is this feature important and necessary?
Yes, I'm interesting by actions link with sip account and base as in registred, registred failed, setup completed, IP Change, AutoP Finish,... I think that it could help others too and could not you limit action url. (At end when you have a solution for manage Handset actions url, you'll upgrade firmware for)

2. How your business or user experience is affected without this feature?
Customers using W52P generate time support at my side while their demands could be resolved by action URL.

Sorry for late reply, we just come back from Chinese New Year holiday. For this question, we are still waiting for the update from PD and R&D. I’ll try to push and give you feedback the soonest.

In this case, after R&D double check and evaluate , they still not pass it because it is hard to develop this feature(Action URI/URL) between DECT base and handsets, and more resources are needed.

But your good suggestion will be add to the version plan of Yealink DECT phones , but for the present , no exact time plan can be known.

Thank you for your feedback.
I understand your point of view.
I would be lucky if R&D though develop a part of ACTION URL only links with sip account (registred, not registred, unregistred) so only links with base of W52 and not actions link with headset as in answering, hangup, ... and other, it would be helpful.
