I have a huge problem with some of my Yealink T23G phones.
Out of my 70 phones, 20 show the problem.

Once per hour, and all at the same time, they go into a condition of becoming unresponsive and unusable, which lasts from 5 seconds to 90 seconds.
Latency to those phones goes from <1ms to 2000ms, they become unresponsive when managing them on their GUI, and if live on a call, audio drops out and voice becomes totally garbled and people usually hang up.

Other network devices, such as computers connecting to the same switch as the phones do, don't show that behaviour (increased latency e.g.).

What could be the problem, or what could be happening on my network, that would cause those phones to go into lala land usually once per hour for about almost a minute and all phones simultaneously?

Hi,

All phones have exact the same problem?
All phones running on the same firmware release?
Are the phones get their power from the same switch?
I think you have an issue with PoE.
Just a thought.
Out of my 70 phones, 20 have that problem.
All same firmware release 44.81.0.70.
Not using PoE, but power adapters.

Please reset at least one or two faulty phones to factory default, re-provisioning them to see what happened then.
Check in your phone the Auto Provision settings “Repeatedly” is set to Off

Are all phones provisioned the same way and from the same PBX?
I also have this problem Sad

Would you mind describing your issue a bit further?
The more details we can provide the better for troubleshooting.
