Full Version: W56P answering randomly

We have 6 W56P handsets on 2 base stations (3 per base station).
Recently one of them, not always the same one, will auto answer a call on speakerphone. "Auto Answer" is turned off on all the handsets.

The 6 W56P phones, along with 7 desk phones are in the same ring group (6400). In this example one of our handsets on ext 6020 'answered' the call on its own.

Note the duration for ringing desk phones is 2 seconds, except the W56P phones. Ext 6010 is a W56P, didnt answer, but shows 9 seconds duration.

The firmware in below link have solved some similar issues, please download and upgrade the base and handset, test and let me know the test result:

If the problem still exist, then please kindly help to collect the level 6 syslog, config.bin and pace trace when you reproduce the issue with the abnormal base, we will do further debug.

I deployed the firmware to both base stations and all 6 DECT phones on Saturday, and added them back to the ring group. We have had no recurrences of the handsets answering the phones unexpectedly since then. Normally we would have this happen several times a day. So I think our issue is resolved. I'll report back in a few weeks to confirm the fix has indeed resolved the problem.
