Hi all,

Ive been trying to configure a "click to call" feature so that website phone numbers are clickable and will dial out from the desk phone. T46 and T48 phones.

I have downloaded a firefox addon called Telify which is supposed to do the job using an action URI.

According to the yealink admin guide I can use the following uri to get the phone to dial out:

http://user:pass@%phoneip%/servlet?number=%number%&outgoing_uri=%account%

Ive edited the url with my credentials and numbers etc. and tried this from the web browser but all I get is a big fat nothing, blank page.

I have enabled "any" under features>remote control and even tried it just with my pc IP but still nothing.

Also to add to this ive gone into directory>phone call info and tried to dial from there, it says Success but nothing happens!

any ideas of what I can try? grasping at straws now.

Thanks

hi

thanks for your information

1. please make sure your phone firmware is greater than x.72.x.x , if not , please upgrade the firmware first , firmware download link :
http://support.yealink.com/documentFront...isplayPage

2. please focus on the LCD of the phone , the first you use the URI , then the LCD will show :Warning : Allow Remote Control ?: if you see this , please press OK , and then you can use the URI successfully

3. try again to make the URI format is correct, it should be like below :
http://admin:admin@10.17.3.37/servlet?nu...g_uri=8527
I use Telify and it works OK here on my T48G.

The Telify Custom URL I created is:
http://192.168.111.100/servlet?number=1&...g_uri=2055

It shows the Custom URL as:
http://192.168.111.100/servlet?number=1[phonenr]&outgoing_uri=2055

Where it says number=1$0
the 1 adds a 1 as the first digit dialed
the $0 is the number I clicked on in a web page

Hope this helps.
Thanks for the responses

Firmware is 28.73.0.50

Billx thanks, I tried your URL but its still just taking me to a blank page when clicking on numbers

My Telify settings are

Custom URL
dial directly
dial directly
Light
5
Show

http://192.168.19.107/servlet?number=...ng_uri=206

shows up as:

http://192.168.19.107/servlet?number=[phonenr]&outgoing_uri=206

When I click on a number it inputs the url correctly in the browser but its just a blank page, nothing happening on the phone at all
The very first time you click, there is a pop up for "Authentication Required"

Maybe your browser is set to block popups and you are not seeing it?
I turned off the popup blocker and still nothing. Tried with a similar chrome extension but also not working. Could there be a setting on the phone (besides the IP which ive allowed under remote control) preventing this from working?

Hi guys,

I managed to get it to work! had to disable my outbound proxy server and it works now Smile

Thanks for your help!
Hi, click to call is one of the features Callinize can offer. It can convert all found phone numbers on websites and spreadsheets and make the numbers clickable to dial. Aside from this they also have a call pop up feature that allows you to create notes and follow up tasks easily. You can check out their integrations list here https://www.callinize.com/integrations/
Hi,

Were you able to resolve this issue? If you are still looking for a solution, I would like to recommend checking out Callinize (currently rebranded as Tenfold). They integrate CRM to over 150 phone systems and offer features such as click to dial, automatic call logging, easy note taking and task creation, screen pops on inbound and outbound calls, new lead/contact creation when no matching records, support for cases/opportunities and advanced analytics on the backend.

Hi,

I can recommend a 3rd party CTI solution called Callinize. They offer the same click to dial feature as well as call pop up, easy task creation, advanced analytics and much more. You can check their list of integrations on the link below.

Try this, go to the phone IP and enter the username and password. Then try it without putting the username and password at the beginning of the URI. I think the standards have changed where you cannot send username passwords int he URL's anymore from what I have read.

I had a similar problem, and this is how I remedied it.

I hope this was not too ling of a wait to hear something. If you have fixed it, let me know how you got there.
