My phone system requires a 9 before the number being called to dial out. I'm trying to create a replace rule for 911 under Settings>Dial Plan. First I created a replace rule prefix 911, replace 9911. When I dial 911 it does not add the extra 9. Then I created replace rule prefix ([0-9]xx), replace 9$1. This also does not add the 9 in front of 911, but when I dial 511 it will add the 9 and in the history it shows i dialed 9511. Any ideas as to why the phone will not add the 9 in front of 911? I am using T48G's with 35.81.0.110 firmware.

I have tried your settings on my T48G and have no issues.
I use the replacement rule: Prefix ([0-9]xx) – Replace 9$1
After dialing 511 and 911, I checked “Phone Call Info” and 9511 @ ip-address and 9911 @ ip-address shown in the list.
Also the 3CX PBX I’m running shows in the call log both numbers (9511 and 9911) which mean the phone sent the right phone numbers to the PBX.
What kind/type PBX are you running?
Because adding a 9 in front of 911, so dial 9911, won’t work… Is extension number 99 accidently not the voicemail number of the PBX?

I work for a telephone company and we are doing a hosted SIP/Voip product. We are using our Genband C15 phone switch as the PBX. Extension 99 is not the voicemail number of the PBX. What I find strange is that the phone will add the 9 in front of all X11 numbers (211, 311, 411,511,611,711,811) except 911. I think I am going to try load an older version of firmware to the phone and see if that works.

I did a pcap of a 911 call and the phone is not adding the 9 in front of 911 in the invite. The invite looks like this 911@66.xxx.xxx.xxx. I need it to be sent out as this 9911@66.xxx.xxx.xxx. Anybody know of any config changes that can be made or is this a firmware issue.
