Hello,

We are evulating the T52S for sale to our customers and notice a critical failure compared to the T42/T41 series. The on call display of the DSS keys is FAR too short. Two charecters is not long enough to identify the DSS key and there appears to be clearly wasted screen display area which the DSS keys should/could be using.

I've attached an example image (with the called number scrambled out) showing red "boxes" where the space is clearly wasted which could rather be used for DSS key view. Currently there is a "Linekey length in short" of none of 2, perhaps a third setting of 6-8 chars?

This feature will be a critical failure for us as many of our customers have line keys identifying people such as Rob, Rich, Randy and the result will be three line keys which all say "R" unless we insist they show first/last names.

Hi Tim,

When you set linekey length in short feature to NO LABEL (0). It will display NO LABEL but when you press any of a line key, it will display line key with full label when you are during a call. The difference is shown as below:

Can it meet your requirement? If no, would you mind kindly provide some information below to make us to feedback to our Product team:

1. Is there any project that needs this feature?
2. How many phone this project will have? When the project will deploy?
3. It would be better if you can share me more business information about it.

Best Regards

This functionality may work for us, yes, is there a UI config to set the no label value?

Hi Tim,

Do you mean Web GUI to configure? If so, yes.

In Web User Interface:
Press Dsskey->Line Key->Linekey length in short
