Full Version: T48S Highly annoying LED Blinking when in Power Save Mode

Hi,

first of all: T48S is a great product. I love it and ordered more of them.

Firmware Version 66.81.0.110
Hardware Version 65.0.0.0.0.0.0

I understand that the blinking should indicate, that the phone is still "alive".
But from a user perspective it is the same as to indicate a missed call. Huh

Yes - a solution would be, not to use power saving settings.
An even better solution would be to add in "Features" -> "Power LED" the item
"Power Save Mode Light Flash" with options Enabled/Disabled

I would highly appreciate this.
Dear Customer,

Hi Johnson,

just downloaded and installed the firmware from the link on one of the telephones.
Process went smoothly. I will check the function and keep you updated.
The values for the "Power Saving Light Time" and "Power Saving Dark Time" options are seconds or minutes?

This has been a long running issue with a lot of Yealink phones. They broke it and now have no incentive to fix it.
I tested the firmware for two days and the blinking is gone. Smile

My settings:
Power Saving Light Time 0
Power Saving Dark Time 840

Odd that the setting has to be 0 or above 100. And since the default setting is 3500 - I still figure if this is seconds or minutes.

Hopefully this feature will be added to the main firmware.
Thank you for the support, I appriciate it.
