It appears that T5x series do not support the XML Browser.
As many of my features have been developed with this, it is a problem.
Is this feature planned for future releases?

Thanks
Mike
HI Mike,

You are right, that the T58V do not support XML Browser.
Can you tell me what is the detail scenario? Which operation you want the phone to do via XML Broswer. We can see if there are any other scheme can meet your requirement.

Also, in the feature, we may have a new feature to replace the XML Broswer, but it is underway, and is not ready for the customer.

Besides, how many phones you have in total?

Regards
Lucia
Hi Lucia

We have built a number of XML applications to integrate with our telephony system and it will be difficult to use these phones without the standard Yealink XML support.
We are just trialling these phones currently. Video is the biggest reason currently for using these phones.

Michael
HI Michael,

I have feedbacked your requirement to our PM, and we have disscussed internally if we can add this feature back.
Just get the result, we will add the XML feature in the next big version. It is about in Sept. in plan, but the detail date can not be confirmed.

Can it meet your requirement? If not, please let me know the reason. THank you.

Regards
Lucia
Thats great news thank you Lucia.
Im looking forward to seeing it in action.

Mike
Dear Mike,

For the XML browser, just get the latest news from our PM and R&D. As there are two projects inserted suddenly, the resouose is occupied, so the plan to support this feature in Sept. may have been changed. The plan may has been delay.

There are two scheme for you:

1. We will add this feature in the further, we can not certain the detail time, but it may not in the Step. Version, still can not make sure of it.
2. Provide us more business information, we push our R&D to release a support version for you. But we may not add all the xml feature for it, but just meet your real requirement.
Please tell me how do you use the XML broswer, use which detail feature?

To persuade our R&D to release the support version for you, we need the detail business information(project information) below:
1. How many T5x phones you have? Other phone model in you side?
2. Does the T5X deploy already? Or it is just in the test?
3. What is the expect time you want to use this feature?

Which suggestions you like? If you like the suggestion 2, then please kindly assistant to collect the detail information for me. Thank you.
This is something we need as well very badly. We use the xml browser with every phone deployed. We would like to use the T5X series but can't currently. We deploy 1500-2000 phones a year so please add as quickly as possible.

Thanks

Hi Vow_Support

Its only the T58 (Android) phones that dont support XML. The T54 and T52 do!

Mike
Ok Great to know. The T58 is the primary phone we will be using. Odd that others support it and just not the T58.

has there been any update on when we will see this on the T58?[/i]
Good news.

We add it in the V40 version of T58V. And it will be release in Oct. in plan.
After we release it, you can download the firmware in Yealink Website.
