Hi all,

we have some SIP-T27P (firmware 2.73.0.50) with some sennheiser SC260 headset. We have the headset send volume set to 50 and this works fine. For training purposes we also have Dual-headset enabled.

Whenever we pick up the handset for the trainee to listen-in on the call, the send volume seems to drop and people complain that they can't hear them.

Just to confirm, the headset works in send/receive and the handset works in receive only as it's suppose to.

Has anyone ever seen this problem? Any fix for it?

Hi,

1. Would you please tell me how many Yealink phones do you have in total?
2. how many phones have the same issue?
3. Do you mean that when you enable the dual headset mode, the trainee can hear the voice, but it's unstable?

Suggest you follow below guide on page 441 first:

If you already follow this guide, please kindly collect trace files and send the email to support@yealink.com, it might be a bug, and our engineer will help you locate the issue then.
a. Level 6 syslog
b. PCAP trace
c. Config.bin
You can get the guide from this link to see how to export the issue data(trace files):

Hi Travis,

we have 5-6 SIP-T28P (Oops, gave you the wrong model last time). And you seem to have put your finger on it. Tried it with another phone and it works fine. So the problem does seem to be just the phone itself.
I enabled dual headset mode as per page 441 of the guide. The trainer (on the headset) and the trainee (on the handset) can hear fine. The remote party hears the trainer as if he's in a tunnel.

Sending the traces to support@yealink.com
