So I recently purchased several T48G handsets and these have been pre auto provisioned by Broadsoft (essentially BT (British Telecom)).

Anyways in all their wisdom they use a random generated admin password for every phone meaning no one knows the admin passwords (Getting information from BT is like getting blood from a stone!). Because of this from the web ui I can't perform many MANY functions. Many functions that we need such as exporting local directory, changing passwords, using phone lock to name a few. Which as you can understand is very frustrating.

The auto provisioning url I use is https://yealink.yourservices.co.uk which works fine (ish) but obviously locks down the phone once provisioned

Maybe if someone else is using yourservices.co.uk could send me there mac config file. Obviously remove any personal login information (if you can keep the syntax though) I can then amend the config, work out the blanks and then make a basic config which doesn't lock down the handsets but configures them correctly to access our hosted phone service.

I have jumped in at the deep end with no knowledge of yealink and auto provissioning (but I am very techy), I have factory reset one of my phones. Its been a a bit of a ballache trying to manually configure it without having any info. I have my dhcp server setup (tftp on 66), and my tftp server setup.

A bit trial and error and I have got my phone logging into my account, and managed to get BLF working on the EXP40. The last item I am struggling with is the Directory/Phonebook (for some reason yourservices renames Phonebook directory). If I look at a working phone it isn't using a remote or network directory all the contacts an showing in the root. I can see from my firewall logs the phones are connected to https://yealink.yourservices.co.uk to retrieve directories but where abouts on a phone is this configure (xsi?)

Another question regarding my tft server. Looking at the connection log during auto provisioning the first file it tries to download is called y000000000035.cfg it tries this maybe 4 times before it then moves onto the <MAC>.cfg file which it downloads ok. My provision server at the moment is purely defined as <ip> which as above works. I have tried setting my auto provision server to <ip>/$MAC.cfg or tftp://<ip> or tftp://<ip>$MAC.cfg to try and get it to take the mac file first but non work it always looks for y000000000035.cfg before failing and then going for the mac cfg.

So am I correct in thinking you don't want to help me because I mentioned the words BT... So If I remove BT from my original post it will all be fine?
