Hi,

Im using an Asterisk PBX.

When calling internally to an extension with a SNOM phone, the dial tone is correct.
When I call with a Yealink phone (T4X) the dial tone stops after 3seconds and changes into a 'Beep Beep'

I already tried:
Subscribe MWI To Voice Mail - Disabled
Voice Mail Tone - Disabled
Tones > Select Country > Custom > Stutter - 0

Can anyway help? Can't solve this issue for days.

Thanks a lot!

Hi,

For this issue, suggest you:
1. Reset the phone to factory(long press the OK key for 5s) and test again
2. switch the account to see if the issue was the server side
3. if the issue only with Yealink phone, please tell me besides the beep beep, did the call established normally?
Please kindly collect trace files to me also:
a. Level 6 syslog
b. PCAP trace
c. Config.bin

Hi Travis,

Thank you for your reply.

1a. Already did a factory reset, and tested this out with only the account + BLF's filled in.
1b. It's on more devices, not only 1 Yealink.

2. Tested with more extensions. when we swap the extension to a SNOM phone, the issue disappears. The problem is also an other Yealinks with other extensions.

3. there is no problem with the connected line / voice quality is fine. The only thing that disappears is the dial tone after a few seconds replaced by: beep beep---silence for 5seconds---beep beep---...

a. [attachment=4062]
b. [attachment=4063]
c. [attachment=4064]

Thank you for helping me out.

Hi,

Suggestion from our R&D team:
Please go to web interface, Features-->General information--> 180 Ring Workaround, and disable this option.

Wait for your update.

Hi Travis,

Thank you for your reply!

Changing the feature (180 Ring Workaround) doesn't fix the issue.

Note:
When I set Message '0' (Settings > Tones > Message '0') the "beep beep" disappears, but there is also no dial tone any more (just silent).

Thank you for helping us out!
