I am looking for a solution that allows a receptionist it make one of the lights on a Yealink flash but for no ring to occur. Ideally the light would stay blinking until the team member presses it.
We want to use this to alert someone that their next appointment is in the lobby.

Do you mean the scenario is like below,
The phone has a DSS key, the light of the DSS key will flash if the phone has a meeting or appointment ?
In this case, I would suggest you can use push xml server feature , the server send the notification to the phone that it has meeting or appointment and control the DSS key flash.

That sounds like what I am looking for. BTW, it is on a 3CX system if that matters. My issue is that I am not a developer so I am not sure of my skill level in doing something like this. Anyone out there that contracts to build these kinds of things?
