Currently our phones are on PST Time zone - However at ~ 5pm
(will be checking today if 4pm matches GMT change on the phones or not)

the call history starts showing all of todays calls as Yday.

Same issue was noted in Nov 2014 with no updates:

Have tested on T42Gs that haven't had firmware upgraded (we got them at 29.72.0.36)

have 29.73.0.45 and 50 on several and the issue persists.

The time on the phones display is correct and tracking the day and time of the call without any issue. However it seems like it is tracking a GMT time on the phone or following something else.

T46G Phone does not have the same issue - it displays the calls correctly as today.
Only difference is NTP #2 was set to a bad IP address - I have now set that to match the others and will test if that is the issue.
also wondering if GMT is the issue as well...

Hello,

May I know you configure the Time setting manually or thruogh Autoprovision?
And can you please change the NTP server to a public server like pool.ntp.org then check again?

manually even though I have a dhcp string setup to do it as well....
my domain server is an NTP server and it appears to be getting time just fine - the time on the unit is not an issue.

again only after 5pm from what we can tell.

I have updated the ntp on a test phone to pool.ntp.org as the primary ntp slot.
used my DC as a secondary one.

the current listing is the PBX Server IP address that apparently is doing a good job keeping time because all phones are holding time correctly without issue.

The issue remains even after using the suggested NTP servers there is no difference.

the logic in the phone call history however seems to change to yday after 5pm.

This issue is still present in the current firmware

just updated a week / two ago..

after 5pm the call log shows YDay for all calls made in that same day.

NTP changed made no difference.

Still no fix?
