I just bought a BT40 Bluetooth Dongle for our phone to test before deploying further. When plugging it in, the phone (T46G) does not detect it, I try turning bluetooth on and it still says "No bluetooth adapter found."
Hi,
Please check and let us know which version you use , if it is not the latest version , please upgrade it to the latest version.
You can download the version from below link,
28.73.0.50.zip
after upgrade the phone , please check if the issue still exist, please reset the phone to factory default to check .
Do you have any other T46 or T48 that you can help test ?
Best Regards!
Flora
Dear Flora, I have the latest firmware version and the issue still exists. The phone does not detect the Bluetooth dongle, I have no other T46s that I can test.
Hi ,
In this case, please send me the config.bin file and level 6 syslog for the issue that I can check it in my side .
Best Regards!
Any update on this? we recently purchased the T48G, upgraded to the latest firmware available (35.80.0.60) and our BT40 usb dongles are not being detected either.
Hi,

Do you see any prompt when connecting BT40?
If not, please reset to factory setting and try again. Also do you have another T46G or T48G which can test the BT40?

If it still doesn't work it might be a BT40 hardware issue. Please contact your vendor for help.

Thanks for the reply.

Whoops I've checked the model and its a BT300M (from Plantronics) not the BT40 (which it was supposed to be). Is that model supported?

Ok I've reset to factory defaults, and tried plugging in the USB dongle again. No prompt appears when plugging it in, and when I go into the bluetooth menu, it claims that no Bluetooth device has been detected. I've upgraded to the latest firmware post reset and still no joy.
Hi,
Yealink phone only support BT40.
