Full Version: Caller Name in History

I just received my W52 phone and have noticed that the caller name isn't stored. To be specific, in the caller history for missed or accepted calls the caller name is always the same as the phone number. When the phone rings the name is displayed it just isn't stored.

Is this a known defect? I searched the forum and couldn't find any reference.

My base is running: 25.73.0.27 and my handset is running 26.73.0.11.

Will this be fixed in the next firmware or is a fix available already?

Thanks
Hi,

I can reprodcue this behavior. Not sure it's a design or a bug. Let me check with R&D firstly.

Currently, you can add them to contact then phone will display name.

James
The issue is that I use the Name more for callers that I don't have in my contacts. When I'm reviewing calls I think it makes sense to have the name populated from the caller id info unless I do have a local contact.

Can you confirm if R&D thinks this is a bug?
I had sent the issue to our R&D, will update you next week.

James
Any update on this?
