I have 3 new Yealink phones, model t46g, firmware Version 28.81.0.15, Hardware Version 28.2.0.128.0.0.0

I have activated function «Display Called Party Information» and «Call Information Display Method» = «Name+Number» (see attachment «settings_call_display.png»). But unfortunately, if somone calls who ist in my local directory, his name ist not shown on the display :-(. I tested also with a picture, but the picture also was not displayed from caller who ist in the local directory (me ;-).

What can i do? It is very important for me to see, if the caller is in my local directory or not. Thank you for every help.

Really no one out there with this Problem, that the data form the local directory is not displayed (in my case name+number) if the caller ist part of the local directory?

I tried with previous Firmware Version 28.80.0.130, same bug here! Please, Yealink Support, fix this bug or tell me what to do. I need this feature to work!!!

PS: will stay by Firmware Version 28.80.0.130, because of the «Power LED always flashing when backlight is off» bug.

Problem solved after many hours of hard work. I could not believe it but yealink firmware cannot recognize spaces between numbers. So phone number «044 555 55 55» in the local phone book can't be recognized, only «0445555555» works. Phone numbers with additional country code, like «+41445555555» does not work either. So please, dear software developers from yealink, for next firmware, improve the recognazion of phone numbers: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/National_c...ne_numbers

Thank you for the effort.

Hi
Thanks for the reply. The import of contacts is the main problem. If you add a contact manually, i think yealink does not allwo spaces between numbers. While XML-import did not work, i had to choose csv import option. My main address book ist «contacts» from apple. If i choose my country, switzerland in my case, in settings, contacts sets all phone numbers to «044 444 44 44», the correct «style» for switzerland. No chance to change that manually. Then i have to export my contacts via «vCard». Than i have to convert the vcard file to csv. In csv, leading «0» are missing and spaces between numbers are still there. So i have to erase spaces by «search & replace», that is the easy part. After that i had to force Apples «Numbers» to show «0» at the start of my phone numbers. Excel did not manage this ... So every improvement for importing of contacts whould be very appreciated!
Greetings

Michael (too ;-)
