Hello,

I have a problem with my remote phone book on T46G. Today I have entered the 23rd object in my phone book. The problem is that now one object is in folder "more". When I try to call a contact from this object, I get an error "Only 4 level menu supported".

Is there a solution for this problem? The best option would be, that I could enter more than 22 objects and wouldn’t get a folder "more", because then I cannot call these contacts because there is just 4 level menu supported.

The other solution would be that I could call the contacts in forth level.
Hi,

It might cause by the unmatched format of xml file, please edit your remote phone book by this tool:Yealink Phonebook Generation Tool and then try again.
If issue same, would you please attach your xml file here or send to peter@yealink.com?

Thank you.
Regards,
Peter
Dear Peter,

thank you very much for your prompt response. Your reply pointed us to the right direction. Page limit of 23 contacts per page was set in the scripts of our XML directory generator (we are using a modified Open 79xx manager).

However, there is still limit of yealink phone throwing error message "Only 4 level menu supported" when we browse that deep into containers / folders.

I strongly believe there is no problem with format of XML as hundreds of contacts are working without issues. We only get error message when we try to use (call) a contact that is buried deep in the sub categores, for example:

Partners>Region A> Retail> Sales Support>First Level>John

Thanks for your help
Hi,

Actually the phone book only supports 2 level on our side test, would you please delete the private messages on your contacts and then send the template to me so we can find the details.

Thank you!
Regards,
Peter
Dear Peter,

I can’t send you template, because we don’t use your program. We are using Open 79xx manager.

We have solved the problem and I don’t need any further help.

Thank you very much.
