Hello!

We want to try to configure a DSS-Button that it shows a picture laying on a external webserver, when the button is pressed. The picture can be accessed via http in that way:

http://www.example.com/picture.jpg

Background: We have camera on the back-door of the house and want to see who is there, when the bell rings. The bell itself doesn't offer services as SIP or Camera, but the camera can place a picture of the current view to a file of a webserver. We want to try to view that picture in the display of the T48G. Is it possible to perform that?

Regards,

René
Hi Rene,

You can configure a DSSKey as "XML Browser". Please upload the "ImageScreen.xml" (attachment) file to your server, and specify this file URL in the field of this DSSKey(as below screenshot shows), then specify “http://www.example.com/picture.jpg” in this ImageScreen.xml.

When your press the XML Browser DSSKey, phone will display the picture.jpg.

Thank you.
Regards,
Peter
Will this allow for streaming video or only the latest image when it was pulled? I want to try and get this to work like the SNOM820
