Hi,

I currently have a client who would like to have the phone auto-provision when a user log's out, currently the only log out function i have found is via the hotdesk line key, is it possible to reassign the (hold OK to reboot) to a line key (renamed logout) this would then force the provision on reboot?

The scenario is that the company always want extension 123 to be logged into the phones and a user can jump onto the phone sign in with their extension then log off and have the phone revert to extension 123.

Currently using the T4x series with 3cx.

Kind Regards,

Ben.

Hi Ben,

Do you mean that you would like to keep the extention 123(account1) in loggin status and have a line key pre-configured to quick switch another extension(account2) login or logout? That's to say, pre-configure two linekeys, one named login, another named logout, when hit the login key, phone will login account2 automatically, when hit the logout key, phone will logout account2 automatically.
If yes, you can use the XML Browser feature, do like below:
1. Create two xml files each named login.xml and logout.xml, as attachment shows.
2. Upload these files on your server, then fill in the address in Dsskey fields.

Thank you.

Hi Peter,

That's great really helped me, I had to make a few modifications but just knowing about the xml browser has allowed me to do so much more then I could before and allowed me to set up our client up in the exact way they requested.

Kind Regards,

Ben.
