Full Version: T46g / T48g with Bluetooth Sennheiser MB Pro1

Hi everybody,

it would be nice to know if it's possible to connect an Sennheiser MB Pro1 bluetooth headset with a T46g or an T48g.
I already have a T46g, including the BT40 dongle and the proposed Sennheiser headset. So far the T46g finds the headset, but if I try to pair the headset with the phone, there is only the message "Connect failed". For only one time, of my about 40 tries, I got a input field for the pairing code and after that the pairing failed again.
I tried it with different firmware versions, including the 28.73.0.50, but with no positive changes.
So the question is, is there any possibility to connect the headset with the Phone or can the problem be solved by a future firmware version?

Dear Itchybee,

According to compatibility list released on our website, Sennheiser MB Pro1 is not on the list. That means our engineers have tested it yet. So we cannot guarantee that whether it is compatible or not.

The good news is that we will test this headset for new firmware generation V80. The result will not be so soon, but we will keep you posted.

Do you have any news on that point? I have a MB Pro 2 for a customer with T46G phone and it's not working (failed message)?

I've got the same issue here and i'm also wondering when this going to be fixed.
Spend a lot of money on these phones and bluetooth adapters and would like to see it working any time soon.

Sorry to tell you that the new compatibility list is not ready yet. But we will release our latest V80 firmware on official website in few days. Please pay attention to it and upgrade the firmware to have a test.

Same here. No luck pairing a T48G (35.80.0.60) with Sennheiser MB Pro 2 ...

T48G scans and sees the MB Pro, then I can enter the passcode, but MB Pro keeps saying "Pairing" and nothing happens. No "failed" message. No nothing. After a timeout the menu closes and I'm back at the home screen with no headset. Sad

Did you test with the new 35.80.0.60 available on the download section of the support?
I've tried the brand new 35.80.0.70 ...

Same problem as before: T48 sees the MB Pro, then I can enter the PIN and - nothing happens. After a while the Bluetooth menu bounces back to the home screen leaving the headset unpaired.

Very frustrating!

I received a confirmation from Yealink Support yesterday that this headset will be validated in the next release...
