Not happy. Brand new T48G phone, randomly locks up while call in progress. Not cool. Was replacement for Grandstream GXP2100. Now not so sure this was a safe move.

Did an upgrade to the latest F/W 35.73.0.50, then thought it was an issue with that F/W so I downgraded to F/W 35.73.0.40. Still having the lock ups.

1) Are there others having this issue?
2) Is this a known issue?

Thanks

Hi oHMS,

It's not a known issue.
The "lock up" means that phone carsh and become unusable? Will it reboot?
Can you please do a reset and check again.(You need to re-register account after restting).

James

Yes. It becomes unusable. Screen will freeze on a bluescreen (BSoD???), and the only way back is to pull the power cord.

Have you tried a factory reset? If not can you please have a try.
After resetting, please only register your account and check whether it will happen again.

BTW, when the phone lock up, can you get into web interface? If yes, plesae set the syslog level to 6 and export it when problem happens.

Thanks,
James

Had not tried accessing web ui when it locks up. Will do try that. Will also set log to 6.
