Full Version: Can't hear self on call

We upgraded a couple of our t22p handsets and, on those upgraded phones, users do not hear their own voice in the handset when making calls, either internal and external. The call recipient can hear the user just fine. And the user can hear the call recipient just fine. It is only the user's own voice that is not heard in the handset.

It is odd how difficult it is to use the phone without hearing yourself.

When I downgraded to 7.72.0.80 I could hear myself in the handset again.

Thanks for any advice.

David
You actually shouldn't really hear yourself on a phone call... But it's what we have come to expect...

There is a sidetone value that can be set

voice.side_tone = -3
allowable range of values -48 to 0

I do not know if this is in the WebGUI anywhere.
