It seems like all of Yealink's voip phones (e.g. T20, T46g, W52) allow the user to make calls to other Yealink extensions by dialing the direct IP address of the target extension, but only the wired phones (e.g. T20 and T46g) have an option to auto answer calls made via direct IP dialing (e.g. see the option in the Features/General Information tab for the T20 to enable "IP Direct Auto Answer"). Is there a way to turn that option on for W52 wireless phones too (so that a direct IP call to a W52 would autoanswer like an intercom call does)?
Hi,

It is not supported in W52P.
You have to use another handset to intercom or make an intercom through feature access code.

James
Thanks. I'm not sure what you mean when you say 'feature access code'. W52P phones can autoanswer an intercom call placed through a pbx (like 3cx), and they can also receive direct IP calls without a pbx, but they don't seem to be able to autoanswer a direct IP call without a pbx. Strange that the would allow autoanswer of an intercom call but not a direct IP call. When you say 'feature access code' to you mean direct IP call or something else?
