Hi,

First of all, I'd like to say we've just started using Yealink phones and are extremely impressed. Keep up the good work!

We have one issue, though. Sometimes when phone gets disconnected and reconnects to OpenVPN, it will register with its local LAN IP, not the address assigned by OpenVPN. Just clicking "Confirm" on the Account page causes it to reregister correctly.

No NAT is used. Firmware version 35.72.0.30 on a T48G.

Any advice would be appreciated.
Hi Arno,

When problem happens If you don't click confirm phone will never register using the IP address assigned by OpenVPN?
Please set the Server expires under account interface to 60s then phone will send a register packet every 30s. At now please check whether phone will register through OpenVPN IP address finally or it just keeps using local LAN IP.

And can you send us tar file you use? You can delete or mask private information.

Also you can have a try of V73 firmware:
ftp://yealinkftp:yealinkftp@ftp.yealink....3.0.16.rom

Regards,
James

That's correct. In one instance, it sat for 12 hours or so until the user noticed it wasn't working. The VPN itself is fine during this time because we can reach the web interface remotely without issue.

Anonymized version of the vpn tar is attached and we will try the beta firmware.

Thanks!
