Hello,

I have problems with a Yealink t46g series with a exp40 connected (30 BLF users monitored).
Already done:
Upgrade to last firmware version 130.
Post on Full 100m duplex, for the wan and for the pc port.
Has Static IP.

The phone is loosing packets on the networks wired directly with the switch.
The symptoms are:
Slow behavior.
Phone hangs/freezes randomly.
Phone locks up in middle of a call.

There is the exact same phone on the other office, same config and setup (Different accounts) but there is no problem there.

Is there anything that i can do to fix the issue?

Thanks.

Hello, sorry for the late reply.

We don't know why or how, but we switched the POE for a power supply.
Additionally we set up a rsyslog to monitor and log the phone.
And then the problem was fixed, and no more freezes, quite strange.

Thank you for your time and if we encounter any problems, we will contact you again.

PS: the firmware version was upgraded and then downgraded to the stock one, the .70.

Got the client's feedback.

The continuous failing at morning are ceased, but the phone hangs or slows down at any time making it impossible to work with until hard-reboot.
I attached the Syslog we have here.

Thanks.
Hi Ismaw,

we got the same problem with multiple clients.

Changing from POE to adapter fixes some issues but not all of them?
If you find anything that helps please let it know on the forum.

Thanks,
Nathan.
Hi,

Please try next steps:
1. Make sure all Phones connected to their own power adapter
2. Disconnect all external devices (e.g. EXP40)
3. Upgrade the Phone to the latest firmware
4. Reset each Phone to Factory Default and re-provision

Hope this helps.
