Full Version: repeater mode

When I try to configure my w52p handset to repeater mode it accepts the change then becomes unusable and does not register to the base. A second handset becomes unusable as well.

The handset firmware version is 26.73.193.2 and the base firmware version is 25.40.193.2. There seems to be a newer base version (9.25.73.193.5) but when I try to upgrade the base it stays on the old version.

The repeater instructions (R10) says to change the handset to repeater mode before I register the Repeater to the base but I can't get the handsets to work in repeater mode.

Has anyone else had this problem?
Hi,
For this issue, it may because your base's version is not coordinate with handet's.
I had test in my side, and it can upgrade from 25.40.193.2 direct to 25.73.193.5, I suggest you can rest the base and try to upgrade again.

Hope this helps!

I tried repeatedly to upgrade the base from 25.40.193.2 to 25.73.193.10 but nothing happens. I use the correct process via the online portal.
I even tried to upgrade one version at a time and still the base remains on 24.40.193.2. Is there a way to provide you with a log?
Thanks for your help.

After resetting the base to default settings I was able to upgrade the base to 25.73.193.5. however when I changed the phone to repeater mode it was rendered unusable. When I tried to check on the status it tells me that it is "syncronizing, please try later" but 3 hours later it is still unusable.
I then reset the phone and reprovisioned it. The version went back to 25.40.193.2.
I have no choice to return this product since no one can help me get it to work properly.

Thank you.
