Hi,

Seems that USB dongle for T46G and T48G is only for BT40 (Bluetooth adapter), but does it also work as generic USB socket? (for example, Can we use general USB-headset by connecting this USB socket...?)

Thanks a lot in advance! Wink

Hi Yuasad,

Yes currently it can only be used for BT40.
We are developing the WIFI feature on the port and it will support wireless network connection through an adapter.

James
Good to hear that more functionality is being built in.

The ability for a standard USB headset to be supported seems like a very important thing to develop as well. Polycom VVX phones currently have this ability to plug in any USB headset, giving customers many more options for affordable headsets.

This is probably the only advantage I see that the Polycom VVX series has over the T-4x series right now.
James,

You stated in Aug 2014 that Yealink was "developing the WIFI feature on the port and it will support wireless network connection through an adapter."

Has that development been completed?
No, it has not been totally completed. Please wait patiently. Smile

Thanks,
James
