Hi support team,

we have here two T38G Yealink phones.
One of them got the FW Version 38.70.0.125 the other 38.70.0.185.
Also we have here in our telephone-network the T32G,T19P and VP530 phones.
After i pluged the T38G on the Network, it signals that "no network" available.
The other phones work with our PoE switch, only the T38G's will not work.

Any solution?

best regards daniel
Hello dschmid,

Did you set the vlan in your network environment ?
When did the issue happen ? Did you do some configurations before the issue happen ?
Is it possible for you to reset the phone to factory and to test again ?

Thx

Hi Coco,

thank you for your reply.
The issue begins after i unbox the phone Wink so since i got it!
Yes i try it, and it still does not work...
Yes but, we do not use the a VLAN configuration for the phones.
Hello dschmid,

As we known, the network cable can provide both power and network for phones.
So, could you please tell me the detailed display on LCD is "Network unavailable /obtaining ../updating../no service ", etc.
Could you please help to check in your side that does the issue happen on phone not send the DHCP discovery packet to dhcp server, or the server not respond to the phone ?
Thx
Best Regards
I had a simular issue, but it was caused by ***** patch cables. POE would power the phone but I wouldn't get network connectivity.

Hello jasit,

Could you please check if your network environment has VLAN ? or could you please check if you have enabled the VLAN on the phone ?
Can you obtain IP address ?
How many phones in your side have the issue ?
Thx
I don't have any issues, it was the ***** Ethernet cables once I replaced them with Cat6 cables, I had no issues.
