Hi all,

I have been informed of an issue where on occasion when a call is transferred to another phone, when you pick the handset up to answer the call the speaker is triggered instead. When this happens, the user then needs to press the speaker button twice to get the call back to the handset. Any ideas to fix this?

Thanks

Scott

I forgot to mention, the phones are T46G's
Dear,

This is Kevin from Yealink support team, nice to know you.

For this issue, do you mean B transfer a call(with A) to C, C answer the call from B, but when C pick up the handset, the call is answered, but the sound will out from speaker not handset, so you should press speaker button again to change the mode to handset, so you can use the handset to talk with A, right? Let me know if any misunderstanding.

Also, can you tell me the firmware of C phone(T46,right?)? And can you upgrade it to the newest firmware, then reset the phone by long pressing OK button to test again.

if the issue still exist, please send pacp, syslog, config.bin files to me, then we do more troubleshooting. For how to get them. please refer to the FAQ:http://support.yealink.com/faq/faqInfo?id=311
NOTE:please reproduce the issue, so you can get useful information.

BTW:how many phones do you have? how many phoens have this issue?

Thanks for the quick response. You're understanding of the issue is correct.

I have just seen the firmware on these phones is 28.80.0.95 and I will organise to upgrade them to 28.80.0.130 and test again.

We have 195 phones in service across all sites, and have only had this reported at one site on about 6 phones. As I said I'll get the firmware updated as first troubleshooting response.

Hi

I check the files, but we don't find useful information.
I still has one question, when you make a normal call, will the sound out form the speaker?

Also, please reproduce the issue so that you can get whole processing, then we can get useful files to analysis.

such a call b, b transfer to c, you can put the 3 phone in the same hub, then reproduce, so that you can get whole processing.

When you get the files, please send it to my e-mail.
