Hi people,
scenario we have 4 handsets in a hunt group on sim ring.
handset/user 3 picks up the call users 1,2,4 now have a missed call displayed on the phone.

how do we get it to not register the missed call as its been picked up from user 3.
i know i can disable missed calls altogether but end users receive direct calls as well.
This is can be done with aastra, polycom and cisco so yealink must have this as well.

We will release the V73 beta firmware in forum very soon(about 9.15). In V73 firmware, users can disable the missed call display on screen.

In v73, you can disable the missed call popup under Feature-> Notification Popup. But yes, it will effect a direct call.
May I know are yealink phones working in a same envrionment with these brand phones? If the server reply a cancel messag with reason code then phone won't display missed call.
It seems that Broadsoft server won't inlucde this reason code in R18 when using hunt group. But don't sure whether it can be supported in higher version.
So in aastra, polycom, cisco phones, there is an option in phone to control this behavior?

We have just literally taken delivery of these phones and have exactly the same problem. each user gets the same missed call message and has no idea whether anyone else has actually answered the call or not.
Does the new firmware stop this? You say that you can disable the missed call popup, but will that then also not display any 'direct calls' to each handset? Therefore each user will never know when they missed a 'genuine' call, and not a group call?
This clearly needs addressing in some form as I se this as a major flaw with the phones.

any update here. We are buyin many yealinks for all of our Broadsoft clients. However this one problem may create a massive issue. Currently we are on Broadsoft Release 17 soon to be upgraded. All snom IP phones do not show a missed call if picked up elsewhere.
