Hi,

I have setup a SIP-T38g with the latest version (Yealink SIP-T38G 38.70.0.115) and noticed that after ~5-6 days of working, it freezes and it can't be contacted by network (ping, http, etc..) nor it is available in the asterisk server (UNREACHABLE).

Here the only solution is to power-cycle but this causes trouble to the office as they may not notice it is freeze just after long time while not receiving calls.

The T38g has two active lines, DHCP and VLAN activated.

Can you please advise if there is a known issue with this or if there is a way to fix it?

Thanks
Antonio
Hello Antonio,
1. Did you test with other phones? For example, T32G/T28/T22... Do other phones have this issue?
2. You mean this T38G register two different accounts, and the phone use DHCP and enabled VLAN?
3. When you power on again, it will return to normal?
4. Could you upgrade to our latest firmware 38.70.0.125,then reset to factory and try again?

5. We didn't hear such issue before, if the problem is still, could you provide trace, syslog(level 6) and config.bin file to us, so we can analyze?
Before you export the syslog, please set log level as 6, and reboot the phone, then reproduce the issue, and export the trace, syslog, config, bin to us.
Hey Antonio did you ever figure out a fix for this? At our office we have 10 Yealink T38G phones and 11 T26 phones all running the latest firmware and I have the same problem you have with the T38G phones. The T26 phones work great but can't seem to figure out why the T38G phones become unresponsive. I am running 3cx and it shows the phones as unregistered and also am unable to ping them or anything and end up rebooting them in order to get them to work.
