I have a Yealink T38G phone. I have it configure as the First 5 Line Keys are setup as Call Parks and the 6th Line Key is set as a Speed Dial to an Internal Phone Device. I am Currently Using 3cx as my PBX.

The issue I am having is I will be on a Call and I will put that call on Hold via the Hold Button on the Phone. I will then press the Line 6 Key to Speed Dial the extension so I can let the person on that Extension know that they have a call. However, the call that is on Hold is actually Transferred via an Unattended Transfer instead of my phone calling the speed dial number. How can this be resolved so that it does not transfer in any way with the current call I have on Hold?
Hi,
I suggest you can configure the 6th Line Key is set as a BLF
“value” enter the person's call number
When you pickup a call you only press the Line 6 key to transfer the call.
I am sorry I don't think I explained correctly. I do NOT want the call to transfer. The only time I would want a call to transfer is if I pressed the Transfer Button First. As of now, the user will have the call on Hold on their Phone. From there the customer wants to use a Speed Dial to call the extension of another person to see if they want the phone call that is on hold. However, instead of the phone calling the extension, it takes the call that is on hold and transfers it. So basically, If there is a call on Hold on their phone, I don't want to be able to transfer that call unless I press the Transfer button first.

Thank you for your help
Silly question, why aren't you using the transfer button under the display and then typing in the extention, then talk to the person you want to transfer to, then press the transfer button again. Its a attended transfer feature.
