Hi everyone,

I have a Yealink VP530 multimedia phone connected to our Elastix SIP server and I wanted to enable the feature Call-Info defined in RFC3261 section 20.9

I came accross this forum message http://forum.yealink.com/forum/showthread.php?tid=1429 where a representative of Yealink confirmed Yealink phones implement this feature.

I enabled it from Elastix by changing the extension configuration in order to add it by using SIPAddHeader like so,

exten => _100,n,SIPAddHeader(Call-Info: <http://xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx/callinfo/123.jpg>\;purpose=icon)

In my case I used and IP which is in the same network as the phone and there are no restrictions to access it

I traced the call using wireshark and I can definitely see the Header been inserted by the SIP server and arriving into the phone within the INVITE message, but there is no icon or image displayed.

I researched in the phone manual and web configuration and couldn't find any details on this feature and if there was anything else I need to configure in order to make it work.

My questions are,

+ Does this work with my phone?
+ If it does, should I see the picture/icon/image been display while the call is ringing?
+ Is there any limitation in regards to the format or size of the image?

Thanks a lot for your help.
Martin
