Full Version: Firmware Upgrade + No Missed Calls to be found

Hi,

I have bought the W52 Series IP Dect Phone and have connected it to my Asterisk PBX. When someone calls I can see the number (CallerID) on the display, but once the call is missed I cannot find it in the call log.

Is there an option I forgot for this to work or is this a firmware issue of some sort? I have checked the web interface of the base station multiple times but can't seem to find any option whatsoever that indicates "Missed Call" like several pictures show, I don't have that option.

Now I did try to update the firmware, the base station did update successfully, but the handset did not update, I get an error stating "OEM Version Check Disaffinity" and I can't pinpoint the cause for this.
I have read on this forum that someone was advised about getting a specific firmware from a distributor, but I have no idea what I should get, since I just bought the phone from an online VoIP Hardware WebShop in The Netherlands (voipshop.nl).

Here are the firmware and hardware versions:

Base Station:
Firmware Version: 25.50.0.20
Hardware Version: 25.1.0.0.0.0.0

Handset:
Firmware Version: 26.40.188.1
Hardware Version: 26.0.0.7

Any advice would be much appreciated.

Regards

Maybe Lydis.nl can help you.

Hi,

That was exactly the name of the distributor I have read about in this forum, but the problem is, I did not ordered it from them, so my version is just the default version from YeaLink itself, which is also the reason why I'm getting confused about the "OEM Version Check Disaffinity" Error.

I did however tried to contact them thrice (3 times) anyway for a possible solution, but no response whatsoever.
Hi,

No, you have a modified (customized) firmware version especially made for the Dutch/Belgium market.
Native firmware (from Yealink) don’t contain the Dutch language.
The only way to get a firmware update is to contact or Voipshop or Lydis and ask them, or try to change the handset with an international firmware version.
But this is hard to do, because all Dutch Webshops are selling Yealinks with customized firmware and also be careful if you buy Yealinks on Marktplaats. Same story.

For now, I guess the only thing Yealinks Admin will say is “Upgrade your firmware to 26.50.0.20” to solve the issue. But you can't.

Sorry. Leuker kunnen we het niet maken, wel … (Dutch)

Please let us know the results.
Thanks.
This is exactly the same problem which i faced.

I bought 1 base (including handset) plus a extra handset.
I successfully updated the base firmware but the handsets keep complaining with the message "OEM version check disaffinity "

I also bought them through voipshop.nl.

And after the base firmware update the call logs (missed etc.) dont seem to work anymore.

I'am very curious if (and how) you fixed the upgrade problem for the handsets.

Downgrade the base to previous firmware, factory reset the base and reprovision it again to see if this solve your issue.

Not. I think you have to go back to the voipshop and explain them your problem.

But maybe the Yealink admin have a different opinion on this.
