Full Version: recovery of W52P

One of our W52P base stations we've been using for over a year suddenly lost connection to the network and the handsets could not longer connect to the base station.

We've tried hard resets which seem to react as they should (3 LEDs turn on one at a time starting from the bottom) but the problem remains.

We've tried to recover the base station using a tftp server that hosts the 3 files of W5X.bin, W5X.rfs, and W52P.rom. The base station immediately downloads both W5X.bin and W5X.rfs but does NOT download W52P.rom. There is no log message on the tftp server, it's just that the base station doesn't seem to know it should download the .rom file.

Please help us understand what is happening and how to resolve.

Thanks in advance

Hi ALL

This is Kevin from Yealink support team, nice to know you.

For the issue, can you tell me does the base can get a ip? let me know the middle light of the base is on or off.
If you connect the base to the network, whlie the middle light is off, then the base has a hardware issue, you should ask your phone provider for help.

if the base can get a ip , but the handset can't register on the base, please tell me the firmware of the handset. You also can reset the handset to check again.

Let me know if any update.

Kevin
