Hi,

I tried to upload a new ringtone to my T48G (Firmware 35.72.0.10) at the web Interface (Settings -> Preference -> Upload Ringtone).

I tried different wav-files (all less than 100kb), Browsers and even Operating Systems but all I got is the error message: Error:The destination folder does not exist!

Can anyone kindly help me?
Hi companyuser,

Please try follow steps:

1. Clear the cache of the browser and try again.
2. Please check your ringtone file format whether is correct or not.

3. I attached my ringtone file, please upload it to your phone and check it whether can work or not.

thanks
Hi,

thanks for your answer and the ringtone.

Unfortunately even with your ringtone the error stays the same.
Hi ,

Please uncompress the zil4.zip file fistly then upload it in the webpage.
If it still fail, can you take a screenshot about the error message to me?

thanks
Hello,

I uncompressed the file before uploading. Please see the attached screenshot for the error message.
Hi ,

I have tested it locally several times. It always works well.
Please change one broswer and move the wave file to the another path(like Desktop) to try again.
Sorry for the inconvenience.

thanks
Hi,

thanks for your efforts. I tried different pathes, different Browsers, Computers and Operating Systems. All ended up in the same error message. I guess the error is within the phone. It seems that the path is wrong or mssing. Could that be?

I also re-installed the latest Firmware and resetted the phone. The error stays the same.

By the way: I have no Problems uploading Images within the direcory. But when I try to upload an Image for the Background of the phone it gets me an "500 - Internal Server Error".
Hi ,

I have sent you private message. Please check it.

thanks
I ran into the same problem, but it only started after importing the config.bin file. After the phone was first provisioned, I successfully uploaded and was using a custom ring tone. I exported the configuration, then factory reset the phone. After the reset, I imported the config.bin file and upon attempting to upload the same ring tone file, got the Error:The destination folder does not exist! message.
Hi chris,

I think it is not issue of the phone. Because you upload the ring tone to the phone, it has be saved in the phone memory. After resetting the phone, the ring tone have be removed from the memory of phone. Although the config.bin includes the ring tone name, it didn't include the ring tone file. You can find size of the config.bin only a few Kb. So it will occur this issue. You can upload the ring tone via autop.
Please refer to the guide of autop.
