Hi STASH,
Sorry, T3 series phone can't support Multicast paging feature at the present.
Yealink will add this feature to V71 version.

The V71 will be ready this year ,but sorry, I don't have exact time of it , it will be possible ready before June.

We received word that v71 will be in beta in March so hopefully soon. I am losing deals because Multicast paging is not included with the current v70.

Is there any beta program so we can get it earlier?

I am in a similar situation where multicast paging is absolutely necessary. Without it its a deal breaker. Unfortunately, they have to have the T3x phones due to certain requirements. We would certainly like to see multicast released soon for this series of phones.

We've used Cisco and Polycom phones and have found that Yealink phones are by far the best deal, best overall functionality and in my opinion a better product. If multicast can be supported, I know we would be able to sell to several large customers in our area. The single biggest issue is our customers sign up for hosted systems and when they run a page all (using Asterisk, but the same with any hosted PBX), you have separate channels running to each device. This is obviously not very good when you have 75 phones and page all 75.

If there is a beta program to open up for the T3x series, please let us know.

Has there been any update when the Beta or final version of .71 will come out? Setting up a office in mid April and hope to have something in place then

Also would like an update. We just deployed 213 T38's and the customer is all over us to provide this feature.

Could you let me know where are you from, and who you buy the phones from? You can submit this request to our local distributor, then they will submit to us, and we will do this feature for you according your business information.
