I suspect this is likely to be more a question for 3CX or Asterisk support but as I've only seen this feature on the Yealink thus far I'll start here.
I tried out 3CX to see if certain features that were not working on Asterisk would would with 3CX just to eliminate phone configuration as being the issue.
This was useful and I resolved a couple of issues with my Asterisk configuration, however there is one feature that I cannot get Asterisk to re-create that 3CX manages....
When a called party via 3CX places my call on hold I get a 'held' notification on the Yealink, however I cannot get Asterisk to do this. I tried sniffing the wire a little but it didn't help much.
So just wondering what magic 3CX might be doing that Asterisk isn't...
