We ordered several Yealink SIP-T20P. The manufacturer product page for this phone is located here. You will see that one of the items that comes with the phone is a "Power adapter: AC 100~240V input and DC 5V/1.2A Output." The quick installation guide for the product is located here. You will see that the installation guide also shows that the phones comes with a "Power Adapter" on page 2. It's also worth noting that the manufacturer does not offer a part number for a separate ac adapter, as it should come in the box.

IP Phone Warehouse is listed as an authorized reseller of Yealink phones according to Yealink's website. I would expect that a reseller sell the product with all of the included parts that the manufacturer says should be included.

We have not returned the merchandise because the vendor, IP Phone Warehouse would not allow us to return the product.

Below are the two phone calls I placed to IP Phone Warehouse:

I do not recall who I spoke to. Their explanation for why they did not include a power adapter was that because the last shipment of phones that the vendor received from their supplier did not include the adapters. I explained to them that they should not be passing problems that they are having with their own supplier on to their customers.

It is also worth noting that we have placed a previous order with this vendor for the same exact product, for the same price, in which a power adapter was included!

Please let me know if I can provide any further information. How can I get IP Phone warehouse to give me the power adapters. How are they able to sell the phones without adapters?
I buy T46's without power supplies as my switch has POE. Not saying everyone has or needs a POE Switch but with 60+ phones it is convenient for me. I still use the odd power supply for remote users or copy rooms where I might have a switch in place. I actually just threw a box of 50 of them away. I should have saved them to send to users who are in a pickle like this.

I do not work for Yealink - I am just an end user.

Thanks for the reply. However, the page for the t46 specifically says that the power adapter is sold separately. the adapter should be included with the t20p. In fact, Ive had the adapter included on this model previously.

They also say that the T38 model is future proofed when it fact it is end of line... I do not think they update the website often.
Hi tkalinoski,

Please check whether the price is cheaper than T20P with adapter.
We all ship T2 series with adapter by dafault but can supply them without adapters, which should be cheapter than with adapters.
Please ask your vendor for more details.
