Full Version: T21 control send volume via webgui

Dear Yealink Support, we just learned the hard way that the T21 (P) does not support controlling the volumes (send volume for headset/handset/handsfree) via the Web interface. The "lower version" T20 (P) can actually do this.

So with a T21 you get a fancier display but get cut back on the main function of the phone. We can only increase the audio gain on the receiving volume during a call (so we can hear the caller better but have to yell into the handset/headset to get heard).

Is there a firmware update on the way to fix this or any other way to fix this (I read that other phones like the T20 support autoprovisioning where we can configure those volumes via code but conveniently the T21 doesn't have a yealink config file).

We're on the latest firmware (and tried older firmware but none of them has a mic volume that's acceptable)

Thanks a lot for your feedback in advance!
Can you try the syntax about sending volume for T2X to T21?

Okay, I'll try to use an autoprovisioner and let you know the result. Will take a while.
For others who might suffer the same problem. Login to the Yealink T21 UI, download the configuration file, modify it with an editor (e.g. notepad++) of your choice and upload it. That will help.
This really sucks in this model. Is T19 the same? Why did you remove that option from webgui? ...will it also be removed with new firmware for the rest of T2x series??

The problem for Yealink SIP phones is that the default volume of headset mic is much lower than the actual handset mic volume and needs to be adjusted!!

ps. can't find where should it be changed in config file.

can you please describe it in more details? how to proceed step by step in order to adjust mic volume without webgui features?
Bump from the future. Setting headset mic volume options via autoprovisioning only is stupid and frustrating, please fix this in new firmwares.
The T21P E2 supports two VoIP accounts. It has simple, flexible and secure installation options, transfer, mute, hands-free speakerphone. You can see an article in essay writing service to know more about this problem.
I got some good info from this website. i always run behind the new thoughts. I like gaining new knowledge. According to my experience essay writing service is the best service to attain knowledge.
